They are sort of sweet Rob, but I am 95% positive that our seats are made by Recaro for GM. I know Recaro won a contract about 5-6 years ago to build all specialty seats for GM Performance division.

How much lighter are they.
On my streetrod/race car I added a 250 pound roll cage so I started looking to pull weight
The power seats I pulled out weighed 67# each to my surprise
The fiberglass buckets that went in weighed about 15 .Each
100 pounds out is about a tenth in the quarter.
Just saying
. I like tje black with red trim in the red or black hhrs myself

I like those seats, they look a little more form fitting than the stock. Seats are last on my list, but I would like to replace them some day. I can not find any manufacturer that makes brackets for the HHR SS.

I would ( and plan to ) switch to Recaros. The Corbeaus I have are okay, but pale in comparison to the fit, finish, and feel of the Style toplines I sat my narrow butt in. I tried reclining as well as fixed back from the Sparco line, but the Recaros feel a lot better for only a little more than Sparco. You will have to make your own brackets, but you already know that since you've seen my thread on the seat change. I sold my stock performance seats for $750 if I remember correctly.

I reused the stock seatbelts, and even installed the passenger seat air bladder in the new seats (my wife hates that the car tells on her when she doesn't belt up quick enough). I went with double locking tracks and fabbed up my own brackets. I built in some room for adjustments, and tweaked things 5 or 6 times to get the right seating position.
