What was your price?

[QUOTE=midnightmikedj;229642]What are these supplier discounts? And Conquest cash? I checked a fully loaded SS in Silver with auto, no roof rails and the sticker is $25,930.00. The dealer would not budge from the sticker. I'm not paying sticker. I know it's a new vehicle, but they weren't even giving me what I wanted for my '06 HHR 2LT. It was like $2,000.00 less than what I wanted. The 3.9% and $1,000.00 loyalty helps, but I should not have to pay sticker.
I just completed paper work on my HHR SS for here in SE Mich. There is $2500
on SS right now here in addition to my GMS price. $1000 loyalty till 1/31/08 if you have a 99 or newer GM vehicle . $1000 specific SS cash and a $500 auto
show cash for $2500 total. Transaction is done- these are real numbers.
The $500 may be a Detroit area only- not sure- since autoshow starts

you CAN order the SS online....
well, after a ton of searching i did find this... http://www.chevrolet.com/byo/byoSele...e=selectcolors
I actually have mine on order but when i saw some posts about some options i wasnt offered (rear window omitted etc) i did some digging and found a very basic order page burried away on chevys site....
you'd think they would be putting more into this.. you really have to look hard to find stuff about the SS on their site...
mine should be here in about a week and a half....

The Chevy web site is messed up. It does not show the LSD, performance
seat as options. I contacted them and they said they know it is messed up
and are trying to fix it. It has been over a week and not fixed yet.

In this day and age if you want anything reasonable for your car, it's Auto Trader Time if you catch my drift...

Ended my deal at 21,936. MSRP was 25,975. Dealer provided 2 2k rebates, and 2k GM supplier discount. Lost about 8k in depreciation driving it off the lot Im sure . Auto, pioneer, xm, sunroof - it had just about everything except LSD. Take a moment to really consider that LSD. It did pull pretty heavy without it and can get dangerous when not controlling it properly. I can see why it's inserted with a manual, since you'll want that safety when your handling the wheel and shifting. Wife aggro prevented me from going for a manual with LSD though.
Mgr gave me the 'ooops I gave you too much off' when we reached a verbal agreement. Soon as I walked he made the deal float again. The salesmen were pretty reasonable to work with. The fun part bagan, as always, when you wiggle with the mgr.
Road trip tomorrow!
