wheel center caps

i figured out how to get rid of the gold bowties on the center caps, i pulled all the caps off and used aircraft paint stripper, it works great only draw back is now ill have to spray the caps with a clear coat. i was just trying to remove the gold but it started peeling the cleat coat off too. now its just a silver bowtie on the caps. i like it so far. if it all turns out good ill post a pic.

I wanted to replace those caps too! I just havent had the time to look at all my options. Hope yours works! Would like to see the stripped version though.

Here's an idea..put a nice blue FORD overlay over the bowties. Now wouldn't THAT be a unique look!

They fit PERFECT for the non-SS HHRs... I purchased a set from them for my 2LT and LOVE THEM!!!

Now if they would come up with a bowtie overlay for that gold one in the steering wheel...
