I just bought a set of WV wheels in the 07 series and they fit fine. They are 16" and just clear the stock SS caliper.

Now if you have Brembo's you will have to go with 17" or larger as there is not much room to spare.

I can say now I do no think 15" will fit on the stock caliper nor did I expect them to since GM smallest wheel was a 16" on the HHR.

If you do go with the steel wheels make sure to remove the retainer for the rotor from the stud as it will make it wobble. The retainer is just to keep the rotor in place during assmebly and is not needed or required to be on the rotor.


Also while the Wheel Vintiques wheels fit in a 16" remember these were made just for the HHR. Trial fit the wheels if you plan to use any other brand or style as they may be 16" but the offsets may differ.
Also while the
