Is this worth it?

I have been looking for a hhr ss and I found a 09' black on black with every option, in a 5spd. The car was a demo car and has 7kmiles on it. There asking 22500 plus tax and title???

Or should I keep looking? Thanks guys!! Mind you there is quite abit around my area.

That seems pretty pricey to me, for a demo with 7K on it... I paid $21K for mine last spring, and it was demo with 3k mi. on it. You have to remember this was when gas was sky high and the economy wasn't all the way in the toilet yet. With today's situation the dealer should be willing to go a lot lower than that in my opinon... Good luck shopping!

Thats what i think to....I just acutally found 2 more 09' with all options, one is silver with 10k on it and the other is a black demo with 3kmiles on it. The silver one they are asking 17999 and the black one there asking 18999. I think thats getting better but it still seems alittle high for the silver imo.

Thats what I paid for mine brand new with 40 miles on it. Tell them to take another $2000 off and maybe then it is a good deal.

Yeah, I'd say it's a bit... Usually they can come down quite a bit on the price too!

My HHR had been sitting on the lot since September, 5 months. It was used. Sure it was 3 years old, but here is my point. They first listed it for $15,999. Eventually when I "noticed" it because it was in my price range in early February, the windshield had $12,450 written on it. When I looked at their website, the internet price for it was $11,450. I asked them if they would go to $10k, and they said no. A week or so later my dad went up there to see if they could do any better, and they came back with $10,800 which was $200 less than I was hoping for.

Point of my story is, dealers can usually negotiate quite a bit. My dealer went down $5,199 from their original price. It might take a while, but if they want or need the business, which I'm sure they do in this economy, they will come down.

Im still gonna try for the demo with 7000k on it as its so much closer to me, and I do know the sales manger there, so I think i can get it down alot. HOPEFULLY!!! I told the guy im coming in to drive the car and make sure i like it before i spend this much money, and that i dont wanna sit down or anything just drive and go.. haha

I hate buying cars cus most of them force you to buy a car..i have found a few that have not done that and it was great!!

I'd offer them $21,000. On a NEW SS! :)
