Would you Drive an H3 over an SS

Just wondering if any of you would or have owned an H3 and would prefer one as a daily driver vs an HHR SS?

You know i honestly thought of buying an H3 since I was pleasantly surprised and how well that truck drove test driving it. but I figured i'd rather buy a used one so I wouldn't feel so anal about taking it off road. But the SS is just better imo for every day driving as well as having some fun with it.

They're probably pretty cheap now with rebates I would imagine... I know the Hummer dealer in Grand Blanc has a bunch on the lot still...

Brand new H3 with ~300HP and over 30MPG for $25K and you have a deal.

I agree.

Just depends if you want a sporty SS with low resale value or a Hummer with no resale value.

If you want a Cheap 4X4 and plan on keeping it a long time the Hummer is a good deal. The Chevy dealers will handle the parts and service. And who knows in 10 years they might just be popular again and resale may rebound.

The H3 is the best Colorado GM ever built.

I put this out there, because both are (were) GM and have polarizing looks, that I like so thought many others may have considered as well. I live in a snowbelt in southern Ontario so no doubt an H3 would be far superior in the winter. I think the V8 is the only way to go if buying one. I was suprised at how smooth the ride was in one (drove an 06 a couple years ago). Too bad they are done, would look nice in the driveway as opposed to a Montana SV6 (no offence). We will need a new car in the next 8 months as the Vibe lease is done and we will turn it in for something bigger. Just thinking for my wife- nice to have safety of 4x4 et al.

I'm sure the H3 would make a great winter vehicle but for me right now the SS is the right size vehicle with the right options.
