Would you Drive an H3 over an SS

If you enlarge the tires without correcting the ECM/PCM, you are not registering as many miles as the vehicle is actually traveling. Lower "mileage" would naturally result. I would imagine he's passing people when the speedometer says 55.

I drive LOTS of rentals, and have driven 2 H3's in the last 6 months.
WHAT A PIG!!!
They get crummy milage, don't have enough power to get out of their own way, and are UNCOMFORTABLE.
I now refuse H3's when ever I get one.

Even if someone gave me an H3 I wouldn't drive it. GM took the ultimate offroad vehicle and made it a worthless trendy SUV. Also if you own one environmentalist radicals might come to your house and torch it.

Sure, because spewing all those plastic and rubber into the air is GREAT for the environment. I just love the logic these people have!

I was considering an H3 but the asking price here in CT was way upmarket. Even the new H3T runs in the 40K range. The SS is much more practical and fun a vehicle vs an H3 for what my current needs are.

I have an H3T and a HHR SS.
The H3T is a dog compared to the hhr but it does what I need it to. I have a place up north and its 6 miles off the main road and pretty much nov-april and any time it rains, I need something that can handle off-road conditions.
The bed is a little more practical for me because I can haul a generator and fuel easily.
Not a lot of storage in either the h3 or the h3t and its a tight fit with 4 people. Any gear has to go in the bed. Its the same as a colorado though and when I bought it I got a hell of a deal, better then I could get on any other truck.
Fit, finish, and overall quality is comparable to the hhr imo.
If you need an h3 get one. Both have crappy visibility when it comes to being stopped at a light and first in line. I average about 17.5 mpg
