Hey guys, Random question, does anybody know the size of the O rings around the solenoids, I think I damaged my exhaust one and wanted to replace it. If I have to take it out and remove it to bring it somewhere I will, but would rather have an exact size if anybody knows. Thanks

My old one measures out to be close to a dash 019 in size, however I believe the easily available black rubber material is not of sufficient heat resistance for the application. My guess the OEM material is Brown Viton. This will be harder to source.

If you get a chance, check the resistance of the two old ones as well as the new ones and let us know what you record there. It might help someone later.
As the P0010 refers to the Intake solenoid, and you ordered both the intake and exhaust, I'd put both new ones in, and throw the old exhaust one on the shelf as a "spare", and chuck the old intake in the garbage.
good luck man.
Parts arrived today. I will measure the resistance tonight when I swap them out and post the results here.

Okay, I did my replacement tonight.
The new exhaust actuator measured 10.9 Ohms (11.6 Ohms when installed in the engine)

The old exhaust actuator measured 12.6 Ohms (removed)

The new intake actuator measured 11.2 Ohms (12.7 Ohms when installed)

The old intake actuator (which we knew was the issue) measured ?????

It would not give a reading at all, until I changed the dial on my meter to 2000k, then it read 56.2
(my meter settings are 200, 2k, 200k, 2000k, and 20000k Ohms. All the other actuators readings were taken on the 200 Ohms setting).

So I put my old exhaust one in the box, and stored it on the shelf, just as a backup.

I buttoned everything back up, used my OBDII code reader to clear the CEL, fired it up and re-ran my tester. It would idle at 650 rpm, and smooth as I have ever felt. (before, it would buck and misfire). Revs nicely, too.
It ran for over 5 minutes and never threw a code, never threw a misfire warning, etc...

Great advice from those before me. Thanks a million.

Good job Putter - and thanks for the readings, they will help someone out down the road I am sure.

Wasn't that bad a job was it?

My knocking and engine malfunctions got so bad I was afraid not to replace mine. My intake had totally failed. When there was just the occasional stumble I wasn’t worried.

Ok, so any idea on how to correct the hard shifting, rough idling and TC light coming on in the 2007 2.2L?
