Do It yourself factory Fogs
#121
Just read this thread and have a question on the location of the BCM. Is it located behind the passenger kick panel and if so when I go to the scrap yard should I just take everything from that side, i.e., all the wiring?

Bcm
donbrew,
I appreciate your help.
If I am experiencing the radio on-off problem, will just a re-program of the BCM fix the problem or will I need a new one?
Also I will be installing factory fogs, have the fogs, bought a new waterfall and fog switch, my truck already has the wiring/connector for the fogs behind the radio, so do I stil need an LT BCM or again will a re-program fix the radio issue AND let the fogs work?

I seriously doubt the BCM is your problem.
After market, self installed radio equipment is a problem.
The BCM needs to be programmed for the fog lights, if you go that route. Pretty sure that is covered in the previous 12 pages.

CJUETTEN... Hats off to you my friend. Your diagrams got my fogs up and running as factory intended. My cr had fuse & relay installed, but NOTHING else. Add fitory switch, installed fog lights form hellshotrod, and wired in as shown on your diagrams. The case split of fuse panel was a little touchy, but after a few attempts, all was working. Thanks!!!
