Sorry it’s just the battery fuse in the back. My dad called it the negative battery fuse

That is NOT a battery fuse. It is the fuse for the BCM computer.
Removing for a time should not affect the starting, not replaced fully or blown would.
If your aim is to safely work on the electronics you should remove the negative lead on the battery.

did I cut the line straight and fully into the coupler? Yes. That is the feed line though. I am getting error code P0446 after changing the fuel lines.
