How to add GM Remote Start without option AP3

Thanks for the Remote start
Holy cow batman that was easy and I didn't even have the right fob. After Grounding the Purple wire, my buddy, Bailey He as two ancient Chevy's and all the junk you need to fix cars, said his 2002 s-10 would remote start if you pushed the lock and panic button at the same time. I thought no way, so we tried and the 2008 former Fleet car started and it was magic thanks Snow white and everybody else. by the way I have the right kind of fob found it under the spare like the one fella said. I m going to get it programed, at the Dealer ship that fought tooth and nail with me about not needing the fob and that they wanted to keep it and I said for 150 bucks you can buy it from me.

Some of these have been having issues with the solder joints for the battery holder..... Seems if that was the case you should have noticed when you changed the battery though.

If this is correct then COOL!!!!!
How darn cool is that! No money spent, 5 minutes, old fob w/out RS. I now have RS!!!!!! Oh, remember to turn RS on with the DIC, before claiming it don't work.

Hey ChevyMgr, do you have the pin out diagram for a 2007? It must be a different harness as I don't have a purple in the spots you show on the other diagram. Thanks

open your passenger side computer compartment, look in the bottom right, remove bright blue cover by pulling back grey hinge, from the right had side and the top of the harness it is the 3rd one from the right.. dont know what color it is if its a 08 or newer
