I just did this swap on my '08 Panel a couple of weeks ago. Now I am wondering if anyone that has done this is doing anything different so that the rear seat passengers can shut the back doors easier from the inside? I have not yet had a chance to see what the wagons have on the inside of the back doors for this.

I thought of doing this to my panel, but then putting standard doors on the rear (essentially making it an A6 I think ?)
while a lot of people prefer the panel, myself included, the look of the deleted back window on a select few HHR is also pretty unique, plus, my biggest gripe with the panel is the sheer lack of ability to see without a backup camera....

There is no A6 code for the HHR.
AA5 is the rear window delete option. Here's a shot of my neighbors AA5 SS and my full windowed version.

sorry, the AA5 is what I was referring too, I always confuse it.
that looks pretty awesome. I almost got an HHR aa5 before getting the panel, called the people, set a time to come see it next day, called that eve to verify and it had already sold :/

Maybe a Panel is not for you. No different than a van, but the driver should be able to back up using the MIRRORS.

oh, I do, it isnt that I feel its impossible, just much more difficult than any other vehicle Ive driven due to how low it sits and the fact that no matter where I park, inevitably a full sized SUV or truck parks on either side... I swear they do it on purpose lol
I used to drive a work van, ford e250 panel, but because of how high it sat I never had any difficulties pulling out of parking spots.

Maybe you may wanna try adding 'spot' mirrors on your stock ones. They will give you a much wider view.,.You know those small round type stick on mirrors.

I like how low my Panel is, & I did lower the rear some more to level it out.
