The worn parts allowed the LCA’s to contact the top and bottom of the pocket they fit into in the unibody.

Here is the bottom, the centre bolt sleeve is loose and you can see the mark on the LCA above the grass blades on the right.

This is the top side, the bushing is pressed up and out, the new bushing presses in from this side, it has a taper or bevel to start it into the LCA, the hole has a slight bevel also to start the bushing in, I used a 1 7/8 socket and 8lb hammer to drive them home, using an old brake disc for an anvil.
Oldblue , have you cut one of those old MOOGs open? I was looking at the design as I wondered what made them better.... apparently that sleeve has a ball like hump in the middle of it so it stays solid in the rubber ( wont slide out like the normal steel sleeve. Just wondered if you actually seen that or not, or any pictures?

No, I pressed out the old Moog problem solver, and pressed in the new Moog replacement problem solvers, then sent the worn ones back to get a full warranty refund.

I found this

Take you angle grinder and grind these rivets on the ball joint side flat. Then centre punch them and drill 1/8 hole straight down they them , then 1/4 then 5/16. Drill the heads off with a 1/2 drill bit just until the head pops off Knock the ball joint off the lac and then drive the remaining part of the rivet out of the LCA.

Install the bolts provided in the ball joint package (these are Moogs) and torque to 50 ft lbs .
