2.2 or 2.4 Best? I'm still searching for "MY" 2.4

Hmmm. I'm going to take back my recommendation on purchasing any parts like a sway bar or engine mount, at the present time.
Why ? You're buying a used 9 year old car with a lot of miles. You may need to do some maintenance repairs. Anything from brakes to suspension may need some work.
Since you stated you were going to put the TTR parts on a credit card and pay it over time, I'm guessing you don't have the extra cash. I would suggest to hold off on getting the "mods" until you have that cash saved up.

I see a lot of coupons for free or cheap "57-point", or some such, inspection. You could probably find something similar. A prelude to them wanting you to pay them to fix whatever they find, don't be pressured. And AutoZone or another auto parts store will probably test your charging system for free.
With the miles on the vehicle, I would expect that the intake valves are probably somewhat gunked up, and may need cleaning, now or in the near future. Compression test will tell if this is a possibility.
