Aloha from da HI!

Whats up everyone! New member from hawaii. I actually drive an 08 cobalt LT not an HHR. I actually joined to see if I can find owners of any ecotec platform in hawaii. Me and a few friends started a small car club called island ecotecs. Right now it's just us cobalt drivers but we'd love to get more guys in the club! If you're from hawaii hit me up!

Here's a few pics of my car :)

Aloha from an ex-Barbers Point Coastie and Hawaii Raceway park stock car driver (Mini Mod) from 1974-1976. A few others stationed with me had homes where you are.

Alohaz right back at you! Well Barbers point is no longer an active airbase any more. The military turned it over to the state and they call it kalaeloa now. Also Hawaii raceway park got shut down a few years ago (the lease ended and the owners didn't want it to be a racetrack anymore so they refused to renew)
They are trying to build a new track at barbers down by white plains.

And to everyone else, thanks for the welcome!

I was in Hawaii the last weekend they were open, Drag Racin that weekend. Our old barracks was tore down. the CG Airstation looks way different.

All the cane and pineapple fields are now high rises. I remember the black snow when they burned off the cane fields for harvesting.
