I pried off the plastic chrome caps and started to clean up the aluminium rims underneath
Ugly caps ready for pry bar, and garbage bin!
Aluminium Pontiac G6 rims lurking underneath those plastic fantastic caps.

Today , I tackled one rim , cleaned it with vinegar and 120 grit wet sand paper, then high build self etching prime, tomorrow I will do the same to another rim. This week has dry sunny weather in low 80’s .
I can colour stray them next week at Fred’s body shop.

Today after breakfast and getting Sweetie’s laptop, IPad and IPhone all synced up , I started the process of cleaning, sanding, priming and colour coating the winter rims . Kinda tedious but I got 2 primed one of those painted and the other two I will work on tomorrow afternoon. Sweetie had a headache, so she napped while I used my battery still to clean and scuff the surfaces as my compressor is really loud when I use air tools, like my die grinders .
On the right the graphite grey colour and in the left self etching primer
These 2 will be done tomorrow afternoon, weather and my stamina permitting.
