Bought my 2009 HHR SS Friday 6/14
So far I love it. Already ordered the K&N E-1989 air filter. Next item may be the (gm part#19212670) Turbocharged engine power upgrade kit and kick it up to 290 hp and up to 340 ft lb of torque. Anybody have this installed yet? what is the verdict?

to the forum and congrats on your new ride!
Here's just one thread on the Stage 1 turbo upgrade kit, there are more, but the SS gang will chime in soon.

Welcome to the site.
The GM Turbo Upgrade numbers for the HHR SS are: 290hp, 315tq.
(340tq. is for another GM application,Soltice or Sky)
The link you show in your post is for the old "splice in" kit. I would highly recommend going with the newer plug-in wire version kit. There were some who had issues with the old version.
FYI. This is a dealer install option because the ECM has to be reflashed by GM. Dealers will usually charge about 2 hrs labor for the install.
I've got it and like it. But, if you really want some "oommph"(and aren't worried about a warranty) then go with an aftermarket tune as the others have suggested.
