It's the dark blue color. I'm not sure what the actual name of it is.

I intend to have the stage 1 done and that will be enough for me.
Congratulations and welcome to the site.

Re the HHR SS and flat towing:
There is only 1 company who makes baseplates for mounting towbars to the HHR SS. So when you get disappointed after Blue Ox and Roadmaster tells you that they don't make them, try Demco.

Fuse #8 disconnect while flat towing:
You can also get a prefab fuse disconnect so you don't have to pull fuse #8 everytime you tow (which is required). Or you can fabricate one yourself.

Enjoy your HHR SS; Nice Challenger...

I appreciate the info. I haven't called Blue Ox yet but they do list one for the SS unless this isn't correct. I'll check out Demco too. I've read up about pulling the fuse but I think I'll just make a switch like what you posted.

I haven't checked Blue Ox most recently, but perhaps they've wised up after getting some requests (mine as one of them last year). Be sure that they understand that the SS has a heat exchanger (intercooler) in the way. If the P/N's are the same for the SS as the LT/LS, then there's something wrong. If not, maybe this will provide SS owners with choices for towing behind their rigs. I'd rather go with Blue Ox if possible, simply because of parts availability.

Great to have shared interests here in this group (Motorhome and HHR SS; a somewhat rare combo). Again, welcome brother
