Hallo from the Netherlands
Hello everybody, my name is Brigitte (Bridget is fine) and live in a very small town (Lemele) in the east of the Netherlands.
I live there with my husband Rene and my dogs.
My dogs are 3 Flatcoated retriever dogs Senna, Raven and Daimler
the other 10 dogs are unknow crosses from Spain,Hungary,France,Greece and Holland it self
There names are Angel, Sascha, Poppie, Woody, Holden, Janey, Domingo, Sim, Kalinka and Astrid
I'm not just a doglover, we also have some cars as hobbie.
A 1959 Corvette, 1940 Plymouth, 2006 Mustang, 1954 Bel air, 1934 Ford (hot rod) 1963 Renault dauphine, 1963 Ford Cortine, 1978 Triumph Spitfire and a Ford Anglia (Harry potter car)
And (sorry ) I have a Nissan Figaro from 1991
I love to drive the 54 bel air and my Figaro in the summer, my husband loves the hot rod and drives classic ralleys with the Cortina and Anglia and Dauphine.
The d-drivers are for my husband a Dodge Dakota (1998) and I drove a Chev Blazer S10 but sold it and now i'm waiting to pick up my 2009 HHR from germany.(That will be on 22 feb.)
In Holland they are not much for sale, the one I want, Leather and automatic.
Dutch people love the shift, but I don't
Hope to learn new people and get info about the HHR and maybe some great idea's

Welcome aboard. Bridget
Nice car collection.
We have a couple ourselves. A 1955 Chevy and a 39 prostrstreet Studebaker
I think you are in for a nice surprise, I love driving my hhr at least I can feel like I am driving in a hot rod on a daily basis and get great gas mileage.
I bet you can't wait to. Get your hhr
Lots of great people and advice I have learned a lot

to the forum Brigitte! No need to apologize about the Nissan Figaro, they were the start of the "retro" phenomenon that led indirectly to vehicles like the HHR.
Welkom in het forum Brigitte! Geen behoefte te verontschuldigen, omdat over de Nissan als, werden zij het begin van de "retroflectoren" verschijnsel dat indirect heeft geleid tot voertuigen als de hhr.

Welcome. I have been to holland and belgium several times, very beautiful country.
There are a few dog owners on here, the hhr does well for them. You may want to buy a large mat to fit the cargo area with seats folded down.

Welcome Brigitte. Cool collection of cars, love the 34 Fords. I have been to Amsterdam airport a couple of times crossing over to England in the Hopper. (The Dutch people are always very friendly and helpful especially being in a very large airport). Congrats on the soon to be HHR.

Thank you all for the welcome, 2 nights to go, I feel like a child on the night before x-mas
Trying to search for accesories but not easy in europe, the cargo-mat would be very much on the top of my list.
