Hello and goodbye

I bought my HHR SS last August. I think it has been back to the dealer more than I have driven it. It had become so unreliable that I was afraid to take it anywhere. One thing after another. Water leaks, turbo problems, bad ECM, no boost, egr problems, etc, etc. Monday I had to take it in again because of a check engine light and running real rough. Dropped it off at the service area and walked into the sales area. 3 hours later I drove off in a new Malibu LTZ. Goodby HHR SS. Too bad as I really liked it, and I got more than I paid for it as a trade, and got a great price on the Malibu. Man, that 3.6 with the 6 speed auto has some punch to it! Maybe someday I will revisit an HHR but for now, so long......

So for those of you in Wisconsin looking to buy an SS be sure to stay away from the Imperial Blue one

Sorry to hear about the troubles you went thru!!

Maybe we should start a "lemon" thread and post the vin's to help others from getting burnt in the future??

Sounds good, I have mine for now but I keep wanting to trade it in towards a new-er one because I am like the OP keep having issue after issue with it.

OP: Sorry to hear about it, but I can relate and it is stressful and annoying all the time wondering.

Good luck to ya. The new Malibu is a nice car. I was looking at one when my car was in for service a while ago, looked pretty fancy. Certainly nicer than the older Malibus.

Sorry for your luck and I hope the Malibu treats you better. After buying the wife a new camaro, trust me, your problems are not brand or model specific from what I've been reading in other forums.
