Hey guys! 1st Post.

Hi all,

As you can see this is my first post.
I have a 2007 HHR with around 60k on it. . . not one issue at all.

I do have a question.

There's the little LED light between the sun-visors that lights up the window switches.

Does anyone know the part number or the real name for this light? I've searched and searched online and also called up my local Chevy dealer and they couldn't find anything on it.

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

Welcome and Greetings!! That little light I believe is referred to as the "wash" light, because it sends a gentle wash of light down the center stack to illuminate the window switches. If yours has burned out, you can pull it out and a replacement LED can be found at Radio Shack for about $1.99. Some folks have changed the color of theirs to red or green for a different look at night.

Thanks for the welcome and quick response.

I'll do some searching. . it hasn't burnt out, but I want to add this light in my 2010 Camaro.

:)

I'll look on gmpartsdirect.com to see if they have it listed as a wash light.

LOL, I may have to just drive the HHR to the dealership so they can see what I'm talking about.
