Hi all
A new HHR owner here. Bought it Monday morning. It's a 2008 Sunburst Orange HHR 2LT - leather, chrome 17" rims, automatic. I've put about 300 miles on it so far - averaging 27.8 mpg and 38mph. Ordered a K&N panel filter with hopes of getting over 28mpg - gas is jumping by the day now you know! Will be needing tires in about 5,000 miles, so I am starting to research and save now. Any advice on that one will be appreciated - of course I'll be reading the old posts also.

Welcome. Greetings, and Congrats on that new ride! Try out the search function on tires, you'll find varying opinions and some definite dislikes among our members. The hottest tire of the moment is the Continental Extreme Contact DWS, good reports all around on this one.
