Just bought a 2008 HHR SS the only hesitation I had was the color, it is black so will be washing it a lot. I couldn't pass it up since it is a 5 SPD manual, single owner, adult owned, well taken care of and already has dealer installed stage 1. First long trip made me very happy it was mostly 65 mph with some small towns to go through was expecting 27 mpg but got 31 mpg avg. Also road noise wasn't bad, wind noise was great and it did well on gravel road and was comfortable enough. Stereo had very good sound, acceleration is pleasing although I am unable to get expected 0-60 time. Comes out to 8-9 seconds instead of 6. Mostly due to first gear wheel spin even with traction control on.

 

Welcome to the site raffmanlt. Cant get any traction, gee that's the first time I have heard that.... Lots of things you can do to improve it, congratulations on the SS they are sweet little critters.

 

oh I forgot to mention it also has the limited slip differential so kind of surprised it isn't hooking up better but does need new tires. I will start looking for threads for improving.
