Love my free 2010 HHR
Hi all. Im lucky enough that my company provides me with a new vehicle to bring home every few years. This year I picked out a 2010 HHR. Its been a great little ride so far, although it can be a little cramped for a work vehicle, but I try to do as little work as possible anyway. Just wanted to learn a little bit about my new daily driver and thought Id join your group. See you in the forums..

Hello and welcome to the site! I personally do not own an HHR but my husband does (hence, my screen name.) It is a great car and very good on gas. Look around the site and you will find lots of information and some great people too. I have met some of them in person and they are all great! Well good luck and welcome again. I hope you love your new car!

I do love the HHR. Its a lot smaller than my last work van, but it sure does look cool. I had to get extremely creative inside to make this a work rig.
I was wondering if this model is smaller than the typical HHR with the back window, or is it my imagination? Mine seems a lot lower and shorter than the rest of the LS HHRs I see running around town.

They are all the same size, although yours might be loaded down a bit.
What did you do inside?
If you are still short of room, its pretty easy to remove rear cargo tray, storage bins and rear seats.

I'm surprised your company opted for the half panel. If you want, I have the original toolbox from the full panel I converted to a passenger vehicle. Usually a company does not want the back seat, to discourage passenger use. I know I've seen some of these in NJ. Maybe I'll give them a call , see if they want the toolbox.
