Nashville Newbie

Hello, I'm Tom and I just bought a 2009 HHR Panel to use as our company car. Having it wrapped this week to advertise our business.

This is a white LS model that was a fleet vehicle for GE. I took a gamble and bought it with 248,000 miles on it. The engine and vehicle was very clean and was informed that GE maintains their vehicles quite well.

I do not have any service logs to verify that claim, so going to change plugs, filters and fluids this weekend for peace of mind.

Anything else I should check while performing maintenance on it? Going to check the brakes and tires as well.

Been enjoying the forums while looking for an HHR and it was everyone's posts about their high mileage and what a great engine these have, so hopefully I will be fine.

Welcome to the site xecutech, Tom. I love my panel for work, it's my private mobile office. I would just drive it after you freshen up the fluids, it will let you know if they missed anything. Post a pic after it's wrapped. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show....php?t=3033%27

I thought this one looked good.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. So far it runs great. I bought everything to do the oil, air filters and spark plus today. The engine bay is spotless and it does have a mild tick, but was told it was common on the 4 cyl engines? Almost sounds like an exhaust leak, but not very loud.
