New guy saying hello
picked up my red 2009 HHR SS on Saturday. 5 speed, of course. Got her as a certified used with 32,500 miles on the odo.
I previously had a red 2005 GTO that I had done some upgrades to. Fun car but I needed 4 doors and better fuel mileage.
So far I am impressed with the HHR, although I never would consider the regular HHR. HAD to be the SS.
I'm already planning on getting the GM Turbo stage kit.

I thought I recognized your screen name from the GTO site(s). Welcome!! We have the 'regular' HHR because it's my wifes and she could care less about it being anything more than a reliable daily driver, which it has been. I know, that would be boring someone like you or I but that's all she wants.

Welcome to the site.
If you go with the Turbo upgrade kit, make sure to get the new plug/n/play harness for it. DO NOT get the older kit that has to be spliced. Too many problems occured with the splicing methods used by the installing dealers.

I actually drove my goat down to East Texas Muscle Cars back in 2010 and had them put on American Racing long tube headers and do a custom tune.. That was a fun trip.
