New HHR in Southern California

I just got my 2010 HHR LS on 2-17-2012. It is red.
I test drove many cars from $8000 to $32,000 for months and I got this because of how well it drives. It really does feel better than some cars I have driven that were over $30,000.
My average MPG on the console shows 27.8 which is better than anything else I owned and this thing has 150HP whereas my old car only had 130HP but it felt more like 90HP and this HHR feels more powerful than the 150HP rating.

I already installed a 2nd battery after spending weeks researching the best way to run 2 batteries. I plan to install 2 amps and I always kill the battery on every car I have owned. I was told solenoids are not good because of a potential spike that is emitted during the switch movement. This spike has been know to clobber the ECU on some cars. I built a small RC circuit and put it across the main battery with an inline fuse and this circuit should absorb the short spikes.

to the forum collinjones, and congrats on your new ride!

You'll find lots of good info on audio installations here, just try the "Search" function in the toolbar up at the top right of the page.

I don't get into the audio stuff myself, I'm kinda old for that, my generation's idea of a Bangin' system was an 8-Track in the dash and a pair of Jensen 6X9's on the back deck.
