I just purchased a "new to me" 2006 HHR 2LT with 28K one owner miles. It is orange with gray cloth interior. In addition to the 2LT package (2.4L engine, etc.) it has a sunroof, bright wheels, and automatic transmission. I found this group on the internet and thought I would join to learn more about the HHR. I do not plan any modifications. It will be my daily driver to and from the office (120 miles round trip). I hope I can average 30 mpg since the drive is 90% interstate at 65 mph.

I still haven't refilled my tank since I bought mine last week, but on the way home from the dealership (30 miles), the mileage calculator read 34 mpg. I think it's a safe guess if you're easy on the gas accelerating, use the cruise, you should do pretty well.
