Hi all.
I'm getting an 08/09 HHR SS and can't wait.
I've been a DSM AWD/turbo driver since about 1999.
I had an 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD that I drove from Taxachusetts to:
Rocky Mountain National Park then lived in it at the Grand Canyon National Park for a couple of weeks.
From there to recuperate at a friends house in Denver for a couple of days.
I drove back from Denver (2000 miles) in almost exactly 48 hours.
I was glad be home!
I also drove it to Key West, Niagara Falls, Ohio to race, Blue Ridge Parkway, all over the Northeast, you get the picture.
Nothing beats getting 25+ MPG with 300+ HP on tap
I also had a lil monster 92 Eclipse GSX and now have a PITA 93 GSX AT.
I am definitely a Chevy guy though.
I've owned:
68 Chevelle
68 Stepside
70 Nova
74 Vega
78 Blazer
8* Citation
87 2WD S-10
89 Beretta GT
92 4X4 S-10
10th time is a charm?
This looks like a great forum with many very active members.
I hope I'll be a help after I get through the hindrance phase

Thanks for the hearty welcome.
It looks like the financing's going to work
I'll be test driving tomorrow and it should be in the driveway way before we go to Cape Cod for the 4th.
The stage 1 tune and the running boards will have to wait but I'll be stylin down The Cape in the hottest Chebby I've ever owned.
