long time lurker/researcher, finally took the plunge this past weekend and bought an 07 HHR 1LT with 32k miles on it. Love the chrome appearance package, but it was missing a little something. I had a roll of chrome in the garage from a failure to launch project with my trailblazer. Decided to try it out on the HHR. Its about an inch wide, and I cut it to run down the lower third of the doors, in line with the top of the plastic rock shield thingy on the rear fender bulge. I had a small bit left, and ran it between the two reflectors in the rear bumper, with about an inch of spacing between the reflectors and the chrome strip. Its not over the top chrome, but just enough to be different. I've not seen any others with this type of molding, but it was easy to do.

It looks much better at dusk, but thats cause I haven't tinted the front two windows yet. I need your help though with the HHR emblems. My car was one of those "wrapped" vehicles, a driving billboard basically. The vinyl was professionally removed and the car looks great, but it was debadged! I want to add the HHR and LT emblems to the back, but can't find them anywhere. Any thoughts? Or does anyone have them they'd sell me if you've purposely debadged? I picked up a "2.4" badge from ebay that I plan to add above or below the LT when I get it....

Welcome, Greetings, and Congrats on the new ride!

If you strike out on e-bay looking for emblems and the like, you're dealer will always have them in the parts department, or you can place a want ad here since quite a few folks "de-badge" their HHR's as one of the first mods they do.
