I am wondering as I frequently drive in Canada (Ontario) and would like to know what I can get away with

Radar and laser detectors are legal in most Canadian provinces but not Ontario which is ironic because BEL Radar Detectors are headquartered and possibly manufactured there. I think the Laser "shifter" (jammer) feature of the Passport 9500ci is illegal in my province but I'll take my chances.
