Hi there,
Have been lurking here for a couple of weeks now and it is time to introduce
myself (getting bored with the message that I never posted to this site before ).
I'm living in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and since last saturday the proud owner of a fully loaded sunburst orange 2008 HHR lt with 9.000 km (5.600 miles) on the Clock.
A LPG installation is installed this week to keep running costs low.
Already found lots of usefull information with the search function.
Thanks for sharing the wisdom!
Cheers!
Richard

I would be interested in you fuel mileage using LPG, and also how the power feels. Here in Southern California he cost per gallon of propane and gasoline are very close. Now if you converted to CNG (compressed natural gas) you would see a price per mile much less, just curious.

Have the car back now with LPG installation but only drove 100 km so cannot
tell a lot yet about the mileage.
Generally the mileage goes down with 10% on LPG....
Here in the Netherlands the cost for LPG is EUR 0,72 / liter while gasoline
does EUR 1,72 / liter....you will understand i do not care about the 10% less
mileage
CNG would make about the same mileage and costs but is available only in
a few cities in the Netherlands while LPG is available everywhere.
During the few kilometeres i have driven so far i did not notice a difference
in power..
cheers
Richard
