Newbie Question about HHR
#11
I am a little disappointed in my 09 as I had to spend $2.57 on a taillight bulb last week.
If I keep having these problems I might have to get rid of it. Just joking. This has been one of the best trouble free vehicles I have had in a long time. Has a little over 83K on it.
The only thing I would be worrying about buying an 07 repo is usually people who have them reposed don't take care of them. There could be extenuating circumstances but just be careful.

So I've been driving the new hhr around since Monday and overall I really like it. As I mentioned in my OP that I drive quite a bit. Before the hhr I drove a 4x4 Ranger. Every morning I would put between $30-$40 in the tank. I'll end up having to put gas in the tank tomorrow as I leave, so I'm literally saving about $100 per week in gas.
So that's awfully sweet.
I also love the fact that it's a stick shift, it's been so long since I've driven a stick, I didn't realize how much I missed it. Makes driving a bit more fun.
The one thing I can't stand about it is the placement of the cup holders. I don't know if they could be in a worse spot.
But if all you've got to complain about a new car is the cup holder, you're doing alright.
I'm not much into doing a bunch of modifications on cars since I don't keep them very long, but I think I'll get the front 2 windows tinted and some rims on it (currently has hubcaps).
Does anybody have some nice pics, or point me in the right direction on the forum for the "rims" examples?
