Northern Michigan hopefull

Hey all,I live in Northern Michigan (Cadillac to be precise). I plan on purchasing an SS model 08 probably cuz its all I can realy find, and I'm fine with that. Been doing a lot of research and such on the HHR and being in College it seams a reasonable buy. Also Here in Caddy I have seen a black HHR SS roaming around these streets cruzing around the lake and such, maybe I will find him/her on this site?
Also I am going to put in an aftermarket H/U and speakers (prefferably Alpine as I have had good experience with them). and on trust Crutchfield I have seen that no steering wheel adapter controls are listed as working with the HHR I find that to be a load of crud because some on here have used PAC controls on their HHR's. can someone give me a hand on what PAC or other module will work with an Alpine INA-W900? with or without bluetooth? I have seen on PAC website that the JACK version will work with the wired remote input but i dont think this one has that. any other module that would work? and if someone has it in their HHR how hard was the install? thanks long winded intro, your welcome.

Good luck on your search, take your time, when you find the right one, you'll know it.
I searched for months, drove quite a few, found mine in Ohio, drove 4 hours to look at it. Came home with it, best decision I ever made, fun cars to drive.
I am a former Norhern Michigander myself, Lewiston, small town east of Gaylord. Got tired of 6 months of winter, headed south a bit, still go home every once in a while though.
Good Luck,

Thanks everyone, I'm really searching like you said and I will know when I find it. as of now its going to be whenever I find the right one I'll jump on it. haha I am actually down in New Buffalo Michigan and Michigan City Indiana. I'm down here for an internship down at the casino. The road I'm living on here for 8 weeks is actually on the border of Michigan and Indiana, I'm on the Indiana side of the border and across the street are Michigan houses. its really cool. Well thanks for the luck to find "The One" haha

I know there is a black on black 08 SS, 5spd for sale in Hillsdale, think it has 20some thousand miles on it. Talked to the kid yesterday while I was in Hillsdale about it, he asked if I knew of anyone looking for one. Send HillsdaleHHR a pm and he might be able to get contact info for ya.
