Well I have had my HHR for 4 1/2 years now 61000 miles.

Headlight went out last week so had to come on here to see how to fix it.

I noticed while I was changing both of them that the 245/40/18 tires I have are in bad shape along with struts leaking fluid.

got a quote on the struts and now I need to figure out how to do the replacement myself I don't have that kind of $$$ to toss right now then about the same amount for tires.

I am thinking now that Chevy really makes cheep junk but charge big time for it.

I have also had the clunking in the front now and then.

Welcome aboard Charlie D nice to have another Northwesterner (second one today) we are on a roll. Every one wants too much for their junk.Ever buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks. You'll find more affordable solutions here.

I am down in Roseburg

just have a plain old purple 2006 LT

Think I have washed it 3 times in the last 4 years, it sits in the driveway for 6 months during the spring and summer as I would rather be on the bike.

I work as a machinist on cnc swiss bar machines and have most tools to be able to do repairs as needed.

Right now I need to find out how to replace the factory struts, I don't want to put the same OEM crap back in.
