Picking it up today

Hello all! I'm a new hhr ss owner in southeast Michigan. I'm getting a black ss 5speed. I've been looking for a new car and was actually looking at the camaro but I was fortunate enough to go to the gm proving grounds and try a bunch of vehicles out. They had a ctsv and a bunch of camaros and almost anything else you can think of (except the corvette) to drive on a road course. After driving everything the hhr ss was the winner. It was hands down the most fun to whip around it so it went to the top of the list. Looks like there's a lot of good info here glad to be here.

Thanks guys. The drive home was fun. I traded in my 2007 mustang gt and I'm not missing it for a second.

I traded in my 2005 Cadillac CTS for an HHR SS. I don't miss the CTS either. Really...

Were you at Milford? Logged many hours there myself over the years. What an amazing place and experience it is to visit and work there. Welcome to this Site, you are sure to enjoy your SS. Is it a 5 speed manual transmission?

Yes I was over at milford on black lake. It's a lot of fun there and I got a peek at the volt from afar.

Hillsdale, thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check it out. When I had my mustang we had some good meets and they're always fun.
