Potential New HHR Owner with questions
Hi folks. I'm looking at an HHR to get better fuel mileage than my Element AWD but still have a vehicle I can sleep in when camping. Here is what I want: 155 hp 2.2, auto, 16" alloys, sunroof, heated mirrors, compass, stability control, traction control, fog lights, heated seats. I have looked at the GM Canada site just for specs (don't want to buy new) and I can't see any reference to heated side mirrors or 16" alloys. Was it possible to get all of the above equipment on a 2009 or 2010 model? It is my understanding the 155hp 2.2 was first available in 2009 (with VVT). Thanks in advance for any assistance/advice. Cheers, HHR.

First of all welcome to the site. In the U.S. heated mirrors have never been avalable on the hhr ( some on here have added heated mirrors )the 2.2 is the standard engine for the hhr begining in 2006 for the LS and the LT1 as far as the the wheels I think steel wheels are 16 inch and alloys are 17 inch. if I'm not correct someone will jump in here .

Light alloy wheels - a common practice. Them very much. My HHR LT 2006 is equipped with these wheels.
Heated mirrors - a very useful and convenient option. I regret the fact that GM did not take care of this for HHR. But every cloud has a silver lining ... Equipment for heating the mirror is easily available, cheap, easy installs. Most importantly - practice has shown that buy and install it yourself is cheaper. The dealer will take much more money for this option.

WELCOME to the site Some one did it here on the mirrors very nice. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/mods-exterior-55/heated-mirrors-24879/
However I don't have them and I was running around up there (Edmonton) around Christmas, lots of snow and ice and we were fine . I did miss the heated steering wheel.

Welcome and Greetings!
16" alloys are standard with the 1LT package and they use the same size tires as the LS models. Heated mirrors will have to be a retrofit addition although it would have been nice to have them as an option from Chevrolet.
Good luck with your search.
