Shopping for a Replacement HHR

Greetings. Have been offline for a while. Busy with life.

2 weeks ago my 2008 HHR LS was totaled. Have my insurance check in hand from AAA, so shopping for a replacement car. What am I going to get? Another HHR of course!

Good to be back

Glad to hear that you're OK, as you've discovered the hard way, vehicles can always be replaced.

Keep us posted on your search, and be sure to put up some pics of your new HHR when you get it.

Thanks! As I searched for cars, I kept coming back to another HHR. Of all the cars I've driven over the years, It is one of the most fun... other than my bike.

Well, think I found my replacement. Black 2007 HHR LT1 with only 30K miles. If all goes as planned I'll have my new ride by noon tomorrow.

Has some aftermarket 16's that I'm not in love with hope to sell those and upgrade to some 17"'s soon. Lower it, cold air intake, anti sway bar in the back. Test drove it today and really liked it a lot!

Premium Sound w/ factory sub woofer, heated cloth seats, elec driver seat. Sun roof, etc.

Would post a pic, but system is not letting me. Hopefully later.

Hey Mark, glad to hear you were ok. You should come to our SoCalHHR picnic on June 23rd at Irvine Regional Park and show off your new "re-placement" HHR.There be about 20 of us there.

Thanks for all the greetings and well wishes.

Yes, I took delivery of my new/used HHR yesterday. While the acquisition is bitter-sweet, I am enjoying this one very much already!

Will post pics as soon as I can. First mods will be a better flowing muffler and cold air intake. Lowering and 17"s will follow.

I think I have an event on the 23rd at the San Bernardino Scottish Rite. If not I'll do my best to be at the picnic.

Mark
