Yea I looked at a Cobalt but going from an ION with a big opening trunk to a smaller opening was just silly imo

Kept my 2004 ION (120K) and used the wife's 1996 Pontiac Transport (278k) as my trade for a new 2011 HHR 1LT. LOVE both cars - especially Blackie (the HHR) and the excellent mileage from both (both 5 speeds - I hate automatics!) as they are basically the same frame/engine. No complaints about the ION & I always liked plastic bodied cars (we've had 1 1973 Corvette, 2 Transports, 1986 Fiero GT, a Saturn SC2 and the ION 3). I wish we could still get a mass production, plastic body but no unless you go to a two seater. We need more space than that so the HHR was the classiest looker we found. And the price was great!

Welcome!
