Hi, everybody.
I just got my 2009 HHR LT, Silver Ice Metallic yesterday. Love it. Just filled up with E85 and so far so good. Did the calcualtions and should about break even factoring in the 70 cents per gallon cheaper price and the lower MPGs with the amt of miles I put on it in a year. Though it'll take a few tanks to get more accurate readings, I was getting about 28mpg today on the highway with cruise set at 70 mph, per the DIC.
Love the cargo space and great ride and the electronic driver seat adjustment. I can sit up so high I feel like I'm driving a bus compared to my Saturn Ion I traded in.
Look forward to more happy miles.

Welcome from one Cheese-head to another!
So if the mileage and cost balance out the same, would you keep using the E-85? One big disadvantage is lack of stations offering it, the other would be the stops would be more frequent. I don't know anyone that uses it myself, so I'm just curious...

Thanks for all the welcomes.
To Sleeper:
I have a short upper body and long legs so sitting high works good for me and I can see better.
To CarlsSS:
I plan on continuing to use E85 as long as it has a decent price advantage. I live in Oshkosh and there are at least 3 stations that sell E85 as well as others in nearby towns/cities. Even the small town I grew up in has a Renew E85 station now. I'll be interested to see if there are any issues with starting this next winter.
