I sure hope not. Then the HHR will be considered a gas guzzler and we will all be forced to drive Smart cars. Ugh! Well, look at the bright side: If the world is going to end in 2012, we won't have to deal with $5 gas that long.

Now we really know what the Mayans were predicting, end of the world....nope. Greedy oil companies...yes. Pretty advanced considering they didn't even have the wheel yet, too bad they didn't predict the lottery numbers.

next best thing to a truck - with a few small limitations...
mine has delivered (at different times of course):
Lathe & cast iron stand - twice
Old Delta/Milwaukee tablesaw, stand & 2 boxes of parts
New Ridgid folding-stand tablesaw in huge box
Magnavox consoles - 7 of them
mountain bike
474 lbs of records
3 cage dancers from The Broken Spoke Saloon at Laconia Bike Week
100+ lb. TV @ 130+ MPH
a full sheet of plywood - ?
OK, I needed it ripped to 27.25" wide for a project
I took it out to the car and it touched the drivers seat, the passenger door, the hatch and was 1/4" from my hazards switch so yep, it fit.
News Flash! - New industry standard for full sheets of plywood is... ba-dum-boomp! - 27.25" x 8' long
