No HHR ever came stock with 15", but they can be had from other cars / brands. Mine were off a Saturn L200.

Are we going backwards in technology for any reason?
It makes sense for snow tires. 15" are cheaper and allow you to go narrower (a good thing for stability in snow/slush). I'm running with 195/65R15 from November to April.

I live in SoCal, I have no clue about snow, snow tires or driving in the stuff, but that was not the intent of the OP's question. For normal street tires 14s are old technology. Shorter/stiffer sidewalls are safer and more stable. Just saying. 14s or 15s may be great for snow thires, but for normal climates . . .

Matter of fact,yeah,there are 5 lug 14" wheels.The GM "A" body cars from the early and mid 80s(Celebrity,6000,Ciera,Century)had them.Don't know if they'd fit OUR "A" body cars.

Give y'all a clue....

Take out your 15" spare rim and mount it.... See how much clearance you have. That might tell you something!

Yeah, it will. Something about narrow rims and high offsets.
