2008 Baseball Season
#5
I'm looking forward to another season of St Louis Cardinals baseball. It's going to be a much different team this year without Jim Edmonds, David Eckstein and Scott Rolen, but we still have Pujols, Molina and a good group of role players. To contend we will have to have a healthy Chris Carpenter and Mark Mulder, and get some help from our young pitching staff. The bullpen looks to be the strong piece of the puzzle, but last year our starters wore the bullpen out, which can't happen again this year. The offense will be as good as Pujols takes us, unfortunately. Hopefully Duncan and Ankiel can give some protection for Albert.
The NL Central looks strong this year with an improved Cubs team and a very good Brewers club, so it's going to be an uphill climb from the start, but you just never know.
GO CARDINALS!!!

The feeling you feel is for everyone.
You'll be be a believer in Brewer fever,
When you feel the excitement of the big homerun!
Stompin' your feet
Clappin' your hands
You're part of the team sittin in the stands!
Come see what's Brewin!?!

MLB talk begins and ends with the Tigers' Murderers' Row 2008 - their pitching staff. Already solid with Rogers, Bonderman, Verlander and Robertson, now you throw in Dontrelle Willis, plus the bullpen getting Zumaya back at middle relief and Todd Jones re-signing, and all of a sudden the AL team to beat plays out of Comerica Park.
