Not getting Santana really hurt the Yanks.....I think they will still be looking up at the Sox as they don't have anyone who can match Beckett

Willis was a decent pitcher a few years ago but has been really soft the last couple of years...now that he is in the AL I don't see things getting better for him

as long as Santana went to the n.l. it doesn't hurt the yanks, you know if in July were in it, we will go get what we need,I like staying with the kids for a change ,& this summer we wont be looking to Clemens for help..go Yanks

To contend we will have to have a healthy Chris Carpenter and Mark Mulder, and get some help from our young pitching staff. The bullpen looks to be the strong piece of the puzzle, but last year our starters wore the bullpen out, which can't happen again this year. The offense will be as good as Pujols takes us, unfortunately. Hopefully Duncan and Ankiel can give some protection for Albert.

The NL Central looks strong this year with an improved Cubs team and a very good Brewers club, so it's going to be an uphill climb from the start, but you just never know.

GO CARDINALS!!!
I gotta say ...that kinda sums up my view on this season ... Go Cards !

I agree the Cardinals will have a much different team this year. Unfortunately, they did not get rid of their biggest problem, Tony LaRussa! I'll cheer for them anyway and give well wishes to the departed Cardinals who gave us many years of exciting baseball. I'll miss David Eckstein the most.

How about the Sox today? Finally kicked the Cardinals off the perch, 5-3 in the 13th. Go Youk!
