i dj a car show at a local ford dealership this past weekend and they just got their flex in the day before... it was a deep burnt burgandy with a white top. and it does look to me as an strech over grown Icon. it reminds me of the land rover inside, but with a rich leather interior. it also reminds me of the old international suburban wagon thing, i think its over priced this one was 40,000 it was an all wheel drive. And It didnt really get my appeal, i think this might be the replacement to the expedition. just my thought.

Don't much care for the 'Gillette' grilled Fords, the Mustang is cool, but at 47 yrs of age, I don't want to fit into the 'mid-life crisis' stereotype....

I saw one of these things driving the other day and just shook my head.

I guess Ford missed the memo that folks aren't buying land yachts anymore.
People say GM has been making mistakes as of late, but Ford has really lost their way.

Don't mean to nit pick, and always light hearted...and this is not just addressed to JUST you......"we cool"?
BUT.........
A irritation of mine is the careless use of the word aerodynamics.....
Everyone does it, and I understand why........

Lets try this angle. YOUR EYES CANNOT TELL THE AERODYNAMICS OF ANYTHING -----AT ALL -------EVER. So if you are looking at something....anything under the sun....and on earth......and comment on the aerodynamics of it. YOUR PROBABLY WRONG.

Unless your comparing something safe like a earth-mover to a prius.

The scion xb old "unique"...lol body style has the same "aerodynamics" of our beloved HHR. The "improved"....lol scion xb 2008 has better "aerodynamics" than our HHR.

So who is drivin the box?

Then why the drop in economy for the "redesigned" xb if the aerodynamics are "better".

Proably due to the new xB looks like it is heavier. Typical of the path Asian imports have taken in the US market-- they enter the market small and then they gain weight and size until they're much bigger. Not a good evolution in my opinion.

It's no surprise we don't like that bar of soap on wheels. We're retro freaks.

The least Ford could do was TRY to make it look retro, but I'm sure we're not the market they're aiming for. Come to think of it, I'm not sure what market they ARE aiming for. That price tag will scare the living whee out of anyone looking for an Xb clone.

edit: now that I look at it more, I think it looks like a bathtub with a passenger compartment on top of it.
