Thumbs up 2009 Pontiac Vibe

Personally I really like the looks of the 2009 Pontiac Vibe.
Better than the Toyota Matrix it shares a platform with in my opinion.
GM is finally putting out some pretty exciting vehicles!

i was just thinking yesterday that GM has reinvented themselves with a line of cars that will imprint themselves in the hearts of its consumers much like their fathers did 40,50,60 years ago.

I agree...that was always something I hated, when a car company had a cool model and then put ugly dinky wheels on it. It is nice to see them FINALLY paying attention to nicely styled wheels!!!

I Was really disappointed at how this car turned out, Im not talking about the Vibe, Im talking about the Toyota Matrix, which the Vibe is based on, I looked at the new Matrix and I was like....WHAT?????..They made the car SMALLER!, and with no 3rd side rear window!!, THAT STINKS!...The car looks NOTHING like the previous Matrix, and I was really disappointed with Toyota, I even wrote them a letter of dislike , and I told them I will never buy a Toyota!, And will get a Chevrolet HHR!! :-D

at least the Vibe as a 3rd side window, that makes it a little better, but then again, It now looks like a Mazda 3 wagon.

The new Vibe is definitely more aesteticly pleasing than the old one. The Matrix however is not.

Had an '05 traded it for the HHR. Too light a car. Slid over snow even with a change of tires. Small light cars are bad in foul weather unless AWD.
The interior scratched just looking at it and it was a noisy moan hole.
Other than that my Vibe experience was fine!

I really should have bought an AWD automatic not a silly stick. Good MPG though with the one we had.
New body style looks OK. Still, a car fo others , not me...........

At least they ditched the salad shooter wheels. Those things were so 1993

Nothing wrong with the Matrix...I like it! Great car, great build quality and bullet proof. Can't go wrong with either since they have the 'yota engine and drivetrain
