I like it. I had a 1983 Firebird and loved that too. My first thought was "bat mobile" when I saw this concept.

Of the two, however I still like the Camaro design better.

I REALLY like the new Camaro

I guess GM could have gone a little more retro with it, but I like the modern twist they put on it. Sales numbers disagree with me, but I find the Mustang a little too retro. That last sentence seems strange coming from an HHR owner!

As for the new Camaro looking like a 'Vette - I don't see that as much. In profile, a lot of Sports Cars are adopting similar low drag shapes.

I just hope that when it comes to the market it doesn't suffer from the same problems as the last-gen Camaro. It is great to be faster than the Mustang (those SS vs. Any Mustang camporos were always good for a laugh), but the Mustang won due to price and practicality.

Then again, living in Ottawa with all of our snow (not so bad this year) AND owning a Dog the Camaro would be useless! I'll stick with the HHR....

i honestly dont really like either one. i had a '99 firebird and love that style car but the new ta just doesnt do it. and the new camaro just not even right. i'm holding out for the new challenger, at least it screams muscle car, and you can tell right away what it is

Now THAT is a car

I'll take the HHR any day. I owned a TA and found the only good thing about it was cruising with the t-tops off. I hate any car with enormous front doors. You can't get in or out of them.

I agree with fantomfreke that the new Challenger looks nice. Too bad it's a MOPAR product.

It looks like dodge learned from Ford how to make a modern muscle car look like it did back in the day. As of right now the Mustang was the only car to achieve this, and be successful, IMO. I would say the challenger is on the right track. Now if GM would learn that lesson and apply it to the Camaro and Trans Am, I believe they would have a winner. I would love to see a 70-73 style T/A, complete with shaker and the firebird on he hood. I know I'm dreaming. I used to have two '77 Trans Am's, and dearly loved them both.
