2013 Buick Encore

As the title says Buick's newest addition to their lineup will be the 2013 Buick Encore. The new crossover sits on a 100.6 inch wheelbase and spans 168.5 inches. It will come with a 1.4L turbo 4 cylinder putting out around 140 hp. Also the new Encore will have 18 inch rims standard and an optional heated steering wheel. Here are a few pics of the new Encore and some links to learn more.

Looks a bit short and dorky to my eyes, but with higher gas prices and a dash of Buick luxury it might sell.

But it's tiny. Smaller than an Equinox by quite a bit. I think it also looks better in person than in these photos. It is short, though. What I don't know is why this is a Buick, and not a Chevy.

Pretty simple....Chevy wants to sell Silverados, Equinoxes, Colorados, and the Traverse. No more baby trucklets in the marketing strategy. Oops... how could I forget the Suburban and Tahoe, my '37 Carryall Suburban will never forget me for overlooking its grandchildren.
