3 Days Of Torture

I don't care how much my wife begs me, I am never visiting my in-laws ever again.

I wasn't on the last three days because I was at my in-laws house in Pocono, Pennsylvania. Was gonna spend those days breaking in the new LS7 in the Camaro but instead, I was there.

Day 1 (Dec. 21) - Arrived at in-laws house at 7:30 am. They complained that we were there too early. Then they complained about the way the H was parked. Rest of afternoon was okay, but at dinner they complained about how we ate.

Day 2 (Dec. 22) - Complained because we didn't wake up early enough for them, even though we were up at 6:00 am. Complained about the way my wife was driving, the volume of the music, and the roads we were taking on the way to lunch. Rest of the day was a little better.

Day 3 (Dec. 23) - Complained of the fact that we were packed up and ready to leave by noon. Although, I bet they really complained when I drove across their front yard and through their bushes.

Sorry to hear of the complaining in laws Sometimes ya cannot do anything right in the eyes of the dreaded in laws
I love your ending, driving over the lawn! A classic! You will hear of this I'm sure...............

We should use this thread for our holiday in-law horror stories. I'm sure we all have a few we have lived through or are in the middle of

We are driving a hundred miles tomorrow to visit my in laws and my mother in law the FOOD PUSHER! Always a fun time. She overloads her dish washer and nothing gets clean. I purposely threw a knife under the table at Thanksgiving, as it had dried crud on it.

Never mind them leaving the milk out 'till its putrid.

I'm always glad they have two toilets at their place. Her cuisine makes most of us a bit too regular if you know what I mean!

Good luck to all and happy horrordays!

I have been married for 23 years and to this day I can not understand how my wife came from these people...so tomorrow's dinner has been played out so many times and it never changes...The in-laws cook very plain, unseasoned dishes while my wife and I are foodies and drop new recipes on them (many times for shock value) they are my complete polar opposites politically so political discussions are reserved as my means of escape (wanna' go home, take a swipe at the democrats or unions and my wife goes to great lengths to get me out of there) and I can always go turn on a game on the tube, any sport with a ball, and they will not come near me (just be careful not to turn on a hunting of fishing show or you can't get rid of them)...Yeah I will check in tomorrow there just might be a story...hahaha

Last X-Mas

Believe or not , I love my mother-in law. She`s like a preview of my wife. I get a kick out of her, because my wife is her now, only a little younger. Oh, and a little prettier.
This is her last X-mas, with her present. (MRS. B/B)
