Almost Lost Dad

Mike-
Thoughts & prayers going out for your Dad, you & everyone there.
Just a while back, my mother-n-law had a stroke, which had my wife fly up to Seattle.. Turned out to be a mild one, but still scary..
Hang in there man..

Nice to see people who don't know each other, care!
Been 1 week today, and even though things are not great, he opened his eyes and smiled, and then did as only my dad could do-stick out his tongue. The doctors say he will not remember any of this, which from the trauma he went through (jump started on 4 different occasions) is a good thing. No where near out of the woods yet but we have our fingers crossed. Will keep the well wishers up to date, if anything it makes me feel better to do so. I also have to admit to pass a little time I have been watching the site and it's going ons.

We're a family here Mike, so we care.
I'm happy to hear there has been improvement, and if he stuck out his tongue at you, that means he's "still there". That was our biggest worry when my Dad was in a Coma, would he come back as "Dad".
You and your family are still in our thoughts and prayers, lots of "knee mail" being sent for your Dad's recovery.
